With this production, GIRC has approached tobacco education from a novel perspective by chronicling the growth of a movement based on global solidarity among youth. This approach recognizes that shortcomings of current health education practices and, consequently takes the successful anti-sweatshop movement as its model. The project stems from GIRC's proactive capitalization on emerging trends in the tobacco industry worldwide, which characterizes the video's content as visionary. |
