Volunteer Opportunities

The Guelph International Resource Centre is often in need of volunteers. In spring, many volunteers help out with our rainbarrel campaign by helping to build rainbarrels. In the fall, almost a hundred volunteers are needed to stage the Guelph International Film Festival.

RAIN BARREL VOLUNTEERS:

Our barrels are volunteer-built!

Rain barrel building is a great way to earn volunteer hours, to meet like-minded people, and to contribute to water sustainability in Guelph. It's easy and it's fun.

Come on your own or organize your own team of classmates or colleagues. Corporate teams are welcome!

No skill or experience necessary. If you'd like to join us to build barrels, just email rainbarrels[at]girc[dot]org. We'll supply all the tools and know-how required!
